Vivid Live Image, the Canberra Living Artists Week (CLAW) 2008  Photographic Competition

It’s back and isn’t it a relief! A photographic competition that doesn’t take itself so seriously. Not that we aren’t serious about your fabulous vivid images of living artists. We just don’t make a big thing of it.

Now in its second year, this online exhibition and competition can claim to have become a tradition  - here’s all you need to know:

  • Photographs must have been taken in 2008 and must not have been exhibited anywhere before.

  • Entries may be submitted between 9am on 8 August and 5pm on 26 August.

  • Vivid Live Image will be judged by discerning critic and long time photomedia aficionado, Kevin le Chien of Photoaccess.

  • First prize is courses and/or access at Photoaccess to the approximate value of  $250. Other prizes will include goodies from Ted’s Camera Store.

  • Names of artists will not be displayed for judging purposes so you can be assured it is really ‘blind judging’. Artists’ names and the titles of each work will, however, be displayed in the online exhibition.

  • The exhibition will be projected and the winner announced at approximately 4pm during the CLAW Closing Party at M16 Artspace in Fyshwick on Sunday 31 August 2008.

How to enter

Entry is only $15, and FREE for artists already registered for Canberra Living Artists Week.
